Welcome to Brooke Pioneer Trail Association home page.
We are located in Brooke County WV in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Our Trail is presently 3 1/2 miles long. From Wellsburg to Beech Bottom 3 miles and 1/2 mile in Short Creek,WV connecting with The Greater Wheeling Heritage Trail. In the Fall of 2003 Wellsburg Yankee Trail connected with us at our north end, allowing an easier ride in Wellsburg,WV.

Since June 1997 Brooke residents interested in Trail activies have organized, elected officers, got incorporated, and are 501(c)(3). Meetings are third Tuesday each month(except Dec.) at 6:30 p.m.

This site along with our trail, which is open and useable, is under construction!

The Trail is paved!! We have fencing and barriers to keep out unauthorized vehicular traffic!

Benches are installed, along with tables and chairs for rest stops along the trail
